HOW DO YOU PLAY SUPER TANK BATTLE?
- In Tank 1990 (Super Tank Stars), there are many unique power-ups that aren't found in classic tanks (Battle Arena).

A level is completed when the player destroys all 20 enemy tanks, but the game ends if the player's base is destroyed or the player loses all available lives. Note that the player's tank can also destroy the base, leading to a loss even if all enemy tanks are destroyed.

- Shovel: Adds steel walls around the Phoenix for a period. It also repairs any prior damage to the wall.
- Shield: Makes the player's tank invulnerable to attack for a period.
